“Sometimes by losing a battle, you find a new way to win the war.”
-Donald J. Trump
I know this title is pretty blunt. Whatever the case, it is important that you get this message – Don’t Be A Sore Loser. Your attitude is reflective on your ability to move on with your life after an upset. A pastor gave this advice to me once – “if you are trying to advance and get someone else’s job, you have to remember that that person is important to God too. They need a job and He has to move them into something without them being left out.”
Immediately I got the image in my heart that you see with this post. Every piece in a chessboard has to move around strategically to get the king. The problem is, whenever the pieces are moved around, they take out the other pawns, knights, rooks, bishops, and queen. You cannot be in the same position at the same time. In order to move about, they have to move too.
Sometimes, you have to lose a position or lose a job in order to move into a greater position. If you are in that position now, get ready to be moved. You don’t want to be there too long…you might get check mated.
